I covered the Lexus NX 350h earlier in the year, but this time Lexus threw me the keys to the NX’s RX brother – the 2023 Lexus RX 350. After driving it for a week I want to showcase just what features are the best and which aren’t so great. Here are the PROS and Cons of the 2023 Lexus RX 350h.
PRO: Comfortable Ride
A comfortable ride isn’t exactly a measurable feature. Sitting behind the driver’s seat of the 2023 Lexus RX 350h you will enjoy the comfortable ride it has to offer.
PRO: Miles, Miles, and Miles Per Gallon
The 2023 Lexus RX 350h comes powered by a 2.5-liter I4 engine which has 190 horsepower and an electric motor helps pump the number up to 246 horsepower. The RX 350h is capable of holding 600 miles which will sprinkle away at a rate of 37 city and 34 highway miles per gallon, combined 36.
PRO: Interior Quality
The right amount of leather where you want it, Alcantara along the door cards, Mark Levinson audio system sprinkled through the cabin. All together helps the clean and quality look of the interior of the FX 350h.
PRO: Crisp Clear Displays
What I didn’t mention on the interior which is a big plus is the digital displays. The front driver’s eye is a digital display providing the normal tach and information widgets, but the center is a huge crisp clear navigation screen providing you plenty of goodies such as the energy flow of the hybrid system or if you want to ditch it all Android Auto/Apple Carplay too.
CON: Could Have More Space in the Second Row
If you are under 6 feet you likely won’t bat an eye at this con, but I would like a smidge more space in the second row.
CON: Steering Touch Controls Are Gimicky
The left and the right sides of the RX 350h’s steering wheel is a sequence of touch arrows which the heads-up display will showcase just what you are enabling. The vehicle doesn’t have some crazy new set of controls. They could have found a home for them the old fashion way.
