If autocrossing is too slow and the occasional track day isn’t enough competition for you, perhaps it’s time to consider time attacks. Think of a time attack as high speed autocrossing, only on real race tracks with real race cars. No parking lot silliness.
Time attacks go by different names. The National Auto Sport Association, NASA for short, is one of the largest race organizations in the United States. Their time attacks are dubbed Time Trials. Cars fit into one of nine classes and events are hosted nation wide. Last year over 1,400 drivers competed in their Time Trial series.
