Could I be any more on an online map? I was on my daily commute out of our nations capital in our (recently departed) Focus ST when I saw a fairly plain looking Toyota Highlander with a very non plain looking array of cameras on top. The rectangle sticker affixed to the door had the Microsoft logo and “Bing StreetSide” written on it. If you aren’t familiar this feature of Bing maps (I was not) it’s pretty much Google StreetView with much less livery on the camera cars. I decided to drive beside him for a bit and see if I could remember to go look.
I did, and here I am.
Interesting that, when you are right up close, there is a blind-spot.
