My GTR was destined for New Jersey Motorsports Park the following week so we needed to get on top of everything ASAP and make sure there were no hidden surprises along the way.
In the end, we found a small list of items that needed to be addressed. The rear swaybar’s end links were shot. The brake pads were so-so, and one of the headlight bulbs seems to have a mind of it’s own. I sourced beefier swaybar endlinks from AutoZone for $8 each. For brakes, we sourced Power Stop‘s Z23 Evolution and Track Day brake pads along with fresh ATE Type 200 brake fluid.
Now, let me be clear. None of these items were to the fault of Driver Motorsports. I asked for this Skyline GTR essentially as-is. I fully recommend Driver Motorsports to anyone interested in purchasing an imported vehicle.
