The setting of the shot was quite a coincidence. The weather was perfect, the time was plenty, and the subject was perfect. I know to most people, shooting a black car is hard, but for me, to make a white car stand out in photos are far more challenging than any other color.
Vancouver may confirm this as fact: According to photographer Matt Kwok, a track prepped Subaru STI isn’t something normally seen. This particular example owned by Barry Chan was built in good taste. Barry selected the STI because of Subaru’s proven racing and rally heritage. I doubt many will argue that. Want to see more photos? Check out the full article on canibeat. Want to see it’s tail lights? Attend a track day at Pacific Raceway in Kent, WA.
Beautiful car, Barry. And fantastic photography, Matt!
