Over the last week I had the keys to Audi’s full-size SUV – the 2024 Audi Q7 Prestige. It has been a few years since I have been behind the wheel of a Q7, but I am amped to tell you just what still woos me and what has me wanting more. Here are the PROs and CONs of the the 2024 Audi Q7 Prestige:
PRO: Crisp Clear Displays All Around
Three crisp clear displays are sprinkled throughout the cabin and are quite easy on the eyes. Drivers eye center is the full digital gauge cluster – the Audi Virtual Cockpit display, then to the right is the Audi MMI navigation display, and right below that is a digital screen which controls climate controls as well as a few user settings.
PRO: Interior Quality
Audi is known for its interior build quality. Those crisp clear displays are definitely front and center in that quality department, but there are quality materials sprinkled throughout.
PRO: Best All-Wheel Drive System
You say Audi and people know all-wheel-drive. The industry standard for all-wheel-drive systems does that, comes standard.
PRO: Three Rows
Plenty of family room available as the 2024 Audi Q7 Prestige comes with three rows available.
PRO: Right Amount of Performance
I always say 300 horsepower is all you need on the road. The Q7 comes powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine with 335 horsepower on tap with even more torque with the figure at 369 lb-ft of torque.
CON: Price
The 2024 Audi Q7 Prestige starts at just under $65,000. Check enough boxes and you could be headed close to the $100k range.
CON: Third Row is Tight
So while having a third row is definitely a notch in the PRO column, you aren’t fitting any adults back there. Tiny humans only.
