My experience with Nissan vehicles as been quite unique. I test vehicles from main OEMs but some how the stars haven’t aligned for any consumer level Nissan vehicles besides being fortunate to test some Nissan GT-Rs on race tracks. So I was extremely excited to get the keys to ANY Nissan to cruise around town with. The stars eventually aligned and Nissan threw me the keys to the 2025 Nissan Kicks SR.
After spending a week behind the wheel, I explored the features that stood out and those that didn’t quite hit the mark. Here’s a breakdown of the PROs and CONs of the 2025 Nissan Kicks SR.
PRO: The Ride

Behind the wheel of the 2025 Nissan Kicks SR, the drive feels effortlessly smooth and responsive, making every turn enjoyable with its agile handling.
The interior offers a comfortable, tech-savvy environment, elevating the overall driving experience with advanced features and a stylish design.
PRO: Space for It’s Size

The 2025 Nissan Kicks SR offers a surprisingly spacious interior, providing ample legroom and headroom for both the driver and passengers. With its clever storage solutions and versatile seating, it ensures a comfortable and practical experience for all occupants.
PRO: The Right Amount of Tech

The 2025 Nissan Kicks SR is equipped with some great technology features, including a user-friendly touchscreen infotainment system and seamless smartphone integration.
Advanced safety features like ProPILOT Assist and a rearview camera enhance convenience and peace of mind, making every drive smarter and safer.
PRO: Functional Drive Modes
A lot of OEMs are convoluting drive modes. Complicated choices and most you don’t feel the changes. With the 2025 Kicks SR they have purpose. Boot up in Standard (aka Normal most places), Sport gives you more aggressive response while ECO will give you the bog and efficiency and Snow will change up traction/gear options to keep you from getting into hairy situations. No fluff.
CON: No Power Seats

The absence of power-adjustable seats in the 2025 Kicks SR feels like a missed opportunity for added comfort and convenience. Manually adjusting the seats can be a hassle for drivers who prefer more precise control over their seating position or who are often adjusting seats for additional passengers or for interior loads.
CON: Base Materials

The base materials used in the 2025 Kicks SR, such as hard plastics throughout the interior, give the cabin a less premium feel compared to competitors in its class. While functional, these materials can detract from the overall sense of refinement and quality in the vehicle.
