Recently, I had the chance to experience the 2025 Lexus LX 700h Luxury, the newest and most advanced addition to Lexus’s flagship SUV lineup. With its bold styling, opulent cabin, and powerful hybrid drivetrain, the LX 700h Luxury is built for those who demand both high-end comfort and serious capability. It’s Lexus’s answer for drivers who want the elegance of a luxury SUV without compromising on off-road performance or towing muscle.
In this review, I’ll walk you through the PROs and CONs of the 2025 Lexus LX 700h Luxury to help you decide whether this premium hybrid SUV is the right fit for your lifestyle.
PRO: Cocooned in Luxury
The 2025 Lexus LX 700h Luxury envelops passengers in a serene and meticulously crafted cabin, where premium materials and advanced comfort features create an atmosphere of first-class refinement. A Mark Levinson premium audio system, a dual-screen infotainment setup with a 12.3-inch upper display, and 7-inch lower performance touchscreen are just some of the premium features are your fingertips.
PRO: Off-Road Options

The 2025 Lexus LX 700h Luxury is equipped with advanced off-road capabilities, including a height-adjustable adaptive suspension and Multi-Terrain Select for confident handling across sand, mud, and rocky trails. With features like front and rear locking differentials and Crawl Control, it’s built to tackle rugged terrain while maintaining a composed and comfortable ride.
PRO: Drive Modes Galore
The 2025 LX 700h Luxury offers multiple drive modes such as Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport S, Sport S+, and Custom that let drivers tailor performance and responsiveness to suit their preferences or road conditions.
PRO: Ability to Raise/Lower

I mentioned it in the Off-Road options, but it is such a strong feature it deserves mention separately, the 2025 Lexus LX 700h Luxury features an advanced Active Height Control (AHC) suspension system that allows the vehicle to adjust its ride height to suit various driving conditions. This system enhances off-road capability by increasing ground clearance when needed and lowers the vehicle for easier entry and exit, providing both functionality and convenience.
CON: Body Can’t Keep Up with It’s Off-Road Features

While the 2025 LX 700h Luxury boasts a sleek and refined exterior, its upscale design may appear too polished for serious off-road enthusiasts who prefer a more rugged aesthetic. Additionally, features like the large front grille and low-hanging trim can be vulnerable on rough terrain, slightly compromising its practicality in extreme off-road conditions. You will likely rip off most of this body before you can use the features to their fullest.
CON: Starts at $120k

The 2025 LX 700h Luxury commands a premium price, starting at $119,850 and reaching up to $141,350 for the Ultra Luxury trim.
