2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Prestige: Pros and Cons

2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Prestige hero

Recently, I had the opportunity to spend time with the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Prestige, the newest all-electric SUV in Audi’s evolving EV lineup and a key player in the brand’s premium electric future. With its sleek design, luxurious cabin, and advanced dual-motor Quattro system, the Q6 e-tron Prestige is aimed at drivers who want cutting-edge technology, refined performance, and everyday practicality wrapped in an upscale package. It’s Audi’s answer to the growing demand for luxury electric SUVs that don’t force you to compromise on range, comfort, or style.

In this review, I’ll break down the PROs and CONs of the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Prestige to help you decide whether this elegant, tech-forward EV fits your lifestyle and expectations.

PRO: E-Performance

The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron delivers instant, smooth acceleration that makes city driving effortless and highway merging feel confidently quick. With over 300 miles of range and ultra-fast 800-volt charging, it’s an electric SUV that eliminates range anxiety without compromising performance.

PRO: Loaded with Tech

The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron surrounds the driver with cutting-edge tech, including a sweeping triple-screen layout that feels both futuristic and functional. It makes the cabin feel more like a connected smart device than a traditional SUV.

PRO: Super Fast Charging

The 2025 Q6 e-tron makes long-distance travel easier with ultra-fast 800-volt charging that can add around 177 miles of range in just 15 minutes. Whether you’re on a road trip or running low between errands, its ability to charge from 10% to 80% in about 21 minutes means less time waiting and more time driving.

PRO: Loads of Space

Tons of space all around. The Q6 e-tron offers a surprisingly spacious cabin, with ample headroom and legroom in both rows that make it feel more like a midsize SUV than a compact EV. Thanks to its flat floor and smart packaging, passengers enjoy an open, airy feel, while the cargo area easily handles luggage, gear, or groceries without compromise.

CON: Interior Seems Cheaper Than It Is

Some of the interior materials in the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron, like the glossy black trim and hard plastics along the lower doors, feel out of place in a vehicle at this price point. While the layout is modern, certain touchpoints lack the premium finish you’d expect from an Audi.

CON: Strays from Known Audi Virtual Cockpit Designs

I’ve always thought Audi’s Virtual Cockpit was the best gauge cluster on the market, so it’s a bit disappointing that the Q6 e-tron ditches it for different digital design. The new layout feels less immersive and lacks the crisp, configurable elegance that made the Virtual Cockpit such a standout feature.
