This past week I was back in an Audi. I was handed the keys to the 2022 Audi Q7 Prestige. After some time behind the wheel, I am going to list out the best and worst features of Audi’s newest SUV offering. Here are the PROs and CONs of the 2022 Audi Q7 Prestige:
PRO: Interior Tech
With the 2022 Audi Q7 with the Prestige package, you are surrounded in tech. You get the industry’s best digital gauge cluster – the Audi Virtual Cockpit display, the Audi MMI navigation display, as well as a third digital screen to control all of your climate controls lower on the center console.
PRO: Build Quality
With Audi build quality and luxury go hand in hand. To go along with all that new tech surrounding you you also are surrounded by good quality materials. This particular Audi had the $5800 Luxury package which added an Alcantara headliner, extended leather to the dash, armrests, console, and contour front seats with a massage function.
PRO: Torque-y Engine
The Audi Q7 comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine which kicks out 335 horsepower, but the fun is in the 369 lb-ft of torque pulling you around from stoplight to stoplight. You really feel the torque of the SUV cruising around town.
PRO: Best All-Wheel-Drive in the Industry
Besides being surrounded by luxury materials throughout, one of the best reasons to get an Audi has to be the best in industry Quattro all-wheel-drive system the Q7 comes with.
CON: Pricey
The Q7 as I tested started at $62,000. Being a Prestige package model that instantly tacks on $10,800. It had a few other options checked such as the Luxury package and special paint bringing the total over $80,000.
