Alfa Romeo is back, Alfa Romeo is back! Twenty years ago Alfa left the United States. Their cars, while not necessarily groundbreaking, have always had a certain Italian charm. Rumors started about a decade later that they would indeed return. That actually happened, albeit on a small scale with the 8C Competizione back in October 2008 (a year or two later than expected). Now they are looking at mass production and the little roadster in the video below is the first step towards that goal. A step to be followed up on by a joint venture with Mazda to make an affordable roadster. That we want to see. But back to the Alfa Romeo 4C which sports a new, direct injection, 237 HP, 1750 Turbocharged I4 engine, entirely made of aluminum, with a peak torque of 258 lb-ft that pushes the light 4C to 60 in 4.1 seconds. Pretty quick.
