I have covered the current generation Toyota RAV4 quite a bit of times in the last years and with the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition, I didn’t want to just spew a PROs and CONs list which would sound quite repetitive. Instead, I wanted to single out just what is unique and special about the Hybrid Woodland Edition trim. Here goes…
Unique Wheels/Rubber
Perhaps the most noticeable thing about the Hybrid Woodland Edition are the flow-formed bronze-colored wheels at all four corners. Toyota says the wheels provide “extra strength”, but they look good and unique on the RAV4 lineup. Those wheels are wrapped in Falken WILDPEAK AT all-terrain tires.
TRD-tuned Suspension
I love when Toyota mentions TRD-tuned as it means some off-road mined folks did some finessing with the suspension and it all really makes the on-road driving even better. The same is true with the Woodland Edition. According to Toyota, the Woodland Edition’s TRD-tuned suspension is engineered to enhance body control and small-bump isolation to smooth out the ride on and off the road.
Hybrid Off-Roader
It is the only Hybrid in the RAV4 lineup designed to leave the pavement. There is the RAV4 Adventure and the one I want RAV4 TRD Off-Road, but the Hybrid Woodland Edition is the only Hybrid with the trails in mind.
Unique Floor/Cargo Mats
It is a small addition, but noticeable nonetheless.
Blacked Out Bits
Black roof rails and black badges add to the styling of the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition. Also, out the rear is a unique black-colored exhaust.
