2024 Audi Q8 Prestige: Pros and Cons

2024 Audi Q8 Prestige

I’ve tested quite a few Audi’s in 2024 after a slew of RS models Audi threw me the keys to a new 2024 Audi Q8 in the Prestige trim. I’ve recently driven many Q-models such as the Q3, Q5, and Q7, but I was excited to check out the Q8. After driving it around town for a week I got a feel for just what the best features of it are and what weren’t so great. Enjoy the PROs and CONs of the the 2024 Audi Q8 Prestige:

PRO: Interior Quality

Audi is known for its exceptional interior quality. While the sharp, clear displays take center stage in showcasing this quality, premium materials are integrated throughout the cabin.

PRO: 3x the Displays

Speaking of those sharp clear displays, the cabin on the Audi Q8 features three crisp clear displays sprinkled throughout. At the driver’s eye is the beautiful full digital gauge cluster known as the Audi Virtual Cockpit display, then for the navigation screen you get the Audi MMI navigation display, and if that wasn’t enough you get a digital screen which manages the climate controls and user settings.

PRO: Quattro All-wheel-drive System

In addition to being surrounded by superior quality and all those crisp clear display, one of the top reasons to choose an Audi is its industry-leading Quattro all-wheel-drive system, which comes standard on the Q8.

PRO: 6 Drive Modes

The Audi Q8 comes with a slew of drive mode options including Offroad, Allroad, Comfort, Auto, Dynamic (which is basically a sport mode), and an Individual mode which is a driver custom mode where you can pick and choose what you want.

CON: No Third Row

When I had an Audi Q7 a few weeks ago, I complained about the third row being quite tight and with the Q8 I didn’t have a rear seat, but one positive is the rear trunk space is quite abundant.

CON: The Cost

The Audi Q8 has a base price of $73k, while with all the tested options such as the Prestige package, Luxury package, Night vision, and All-wheel steering bring the cost up to $92k.
