I had the privilege of driving a Ferrari 458 on a track with a former touring car driver pushing me to go faster from the passenger seat. And fast is an understatement, the 458 is an amazing car. But get this, the new 2016 Ferrari 488 GTB leaves NA V8 power in exchange for a 3.8 liter turbocharged V8 making 660 horsepower and launching to 60mph in just three seconds. Wow.
And it looks the part too, with a much simpler and dare I say elegant front and rear treatment. From the rear it actually reminds me of the new Ford GT. If you recall your Ferrari lineage, GTB was applied to the 208 and 308 back in the 70s and 80s and most recently on the 699 Fiorano.
